Juneteenth Commemoration

AFM and AREA (Ashland Residents for Equity & Action) come together to commemorate Juneteenth, the holiday that celebrates the day the last enslaved African Americans were granted their freedom.

Juneteenth activities will include dancing & skits by the Boston Rhythm Riders Movement (https://www.bostonrhythmriders.com/), Guest Speaker Mishawn Davis-Eyene (Mass Bay Community College), Ashland student poetry and great Afro BBQ from Sentie’s Kitchen.
