Tropical Fiesta/Customer Appreciation Day (7/15/17) Recap

Tropical Fiesta and Customer Appreciation Day, on July 15th, 2017 was flooded the sounds of the Caribbean and tastes of the tropics as people sipped on on complimentary lemonade and fruity  smoothies.

The theme of tropical fiesta was seen not only in the music provided by Steel Rhythm but also in the many unique  vendor offerings  Julie’s Z Breads  brought pineapple and pina colada zucchini bread.  Hillcrest Apiary boasted  pina colada and banana flavored honey straws OMG Bagels introduced  mango peach pies and tropical cream cheese.  Town Farm Garden  treated us to mango salsa, blueberry mango jam, and mango fiesta hot sauce.

Dulce D Leche,  along with bringing their  tasty gelato, brought free tropical smoothies. Boston Nut Roasters Lemonade also generously gave away lemonade for free. This was all possible thanks to our premier sponsor, Needham Bank!

Artisans included Cheryl Cohen Mosaics, L&A Designs and The Traveling Trunk. The community tent was Habitat for Humanity and the Town Tent showed not one, but two tents. One for our state’s Senators Karen Spilka and our representative Jack Lewis held their “office hours” at the market. The other Town Tent was for the Ashland Cultural Council who had windchime making for younger children. The Kids Corner had Bryan Lepore, who showed his harmonograph, a device that makes geometric designs.
